About the Seminar
The Department of Aerospace Engineering in association with Rocketry and Space Propulsion Club organized the technical seminar titled “Space Communication – A Practical Perspective” to impart the knowledge of Satellite communication and its instrumentations to the Aerospace Engineering students.
The program was started at 11.00 am with the welcome speech by student representative Ms. Sangeetha, III year. Mr. Supratej, III year student introduced the resource person and the Principal, Dr. M. S. Murali, ACSCE greeted the resource person with the Bouquet and Memento. Then the Principal addressed the gatherings and congratulated the organizers. The resource person handled a very interesting session about the instrumentations and applications of space communication. The resource person outlined the following points.
Importance of space communication
Functions of U R Rao Satellite center
Communication Systems and its instrumentations
Radio waves and frequencies
Orbital mechanics and Astronomy.
At the end of the session, students interacted with the resource person to clarify their doubts in the topic.
Students expressed their gratitude that the program was highly informative and interesting. Finally the seminar ended with the vote of thanks by third year student Ms. Sangeetha.
