M.Tech in Structural Engineering

In the academic year 2013-2014, the Department of Civil Engineering (M.Tech in Structural Engineering) was started with a 18 students intake. The postgraduate Structural program places a focus on advanced study with a particular focus on design and optimization. The foundation is laid by the core classes, while the department electives and institutional electives give students the chance to specialize in a particular field of interest, such as structural engineering. The internship will offer hands-on training, and seminars, little projects, and dissertation aid will temper the inventive and research talents. The Civil engineering department has cutting-edge facilities for computation, visualization, experimental facilities, and technology resource centers established with industrial partners. Its faculty is a diverse group with deep backgrounds in their fields. The adjutant faculty from the industry participates in the dissemination of knowledge.
