Details of the program

The Women’s day celebration and inauguration of “SRISHTI”, Women Empowerment cell was conducted on 8th March 2016 from 10am to 2pm in the Seminar hall 1 at ACSCE. Prior arrangements for conducting the aforesaid program were made.

The program began at 10am and was marked by lighting of lamp and the Women Empowerment cell was inaugurated by Chief guest Mrs.Indira Jaiprakash, former Professor and Chair person ,Department of psychology and psychological Counseling, Bangalore University.

Our Beloved Principal Dr.M.S.Murali addressed the women gathering of staff and students and gave us a brief glance about great achievements of women in the past and present.

Our Chief Guest then delivered mesmerizing talk on Challenges and Opportunities faced by women. She also gave us the potential sources of strength and the courage to face challenges in life. After the inauguration cake cutting was done as a part of Women’s day celebration and distributed. A skit was performed by our students highlighting the Present Scenario and the challenges faced by women. The program was followed by fun and games for faculties organized by students. Overall it was a well planned and executed program which was mainly intended for women.
