About the Program

The Webinar titled “Emerging Global Trends in Space Systems”was organized by Aerospace department to help the students in choosing excellent career paths that are available to them in the wider world.

The program started at 11.00 AM with the welcome speech by HOD/AS and trailed by introduction of the key speaker Padma Shri R.M.Vasagam by Mr. J. Siva, Asst. Prof. ASE. He has briefed about the seven sub sectors explored by STPI researchers like.

• • Earth observation (EO)
• • Communication satellite services
• • Space science and technology (S&T) and exploration
• • Launch and access to space
• • Human space flight
• • Space situational awareness (SSA).

In between communication with students and questionnaire to test the ability of students, the resource person inspired the students to enrich their skills using personality development courses and interpersonal skills. The students expressed that this program was highly useful to them to develop their career. Finally, the webinar was ended with vote of thanks by HOD/AS.
