Outcome of the Program :
The talk commenced with Welcoming the Resource Persons Mr. Raghunath V and Mr. Chetan R.P. by Dr. Mathivanan. First Mr. Raghunath talked about their company, Electronics corporation of India Limited, and their products as he is the Head Tranier.Then the Technical session started with Mr. Chetan, Senior Technical member in ECIL.The talk commenced with brief introduction of Embedded systems, definition and broad applications.
Overview of Embedded systems and applications, Industry requirements, Introduction to Micro controllers and getting started with Embedded system programming was the agenda of the Talk. It was an interactive session as student’s involvement was really appreciated. Next the Characteristics of Embedded systems was discussed, design challenges of embedded systems, and specific domain areas was also given more importance.
Introduction to Microcontrollers, about 8051 architectures, applications were also discussed.The microcontroller boards were also shown to student’s development boards and evaluation boards differences were discussed. The talk was concluded with Vote of Thanks given by Niranjan ,5th sem ECE student. Students gave a good feedback about the talk.
