While Alexa is the first to enter the value added home speaker system, Google home is out to compete in the range. So, which is the better gadget, is it the Alexa, echo or google home? Amazon Echo
Pros – The new echo is better looking than the original model. You can connect easily with your existing audio setup with its aux-out setup.
Cons – The sound quality still needs improvement. The volume buttons are cheap plastic buttons that used in the eco dot.
Google Home
Pros – This is one hell of an assistant. It has the ability to answer almost any question you ask and help you out with recipes and more in the kitchen as well. It can make calls for you and even control your home, if it’s smart too. The music quality is better than echo and it can control your TV as well.
Cons – It is not compatible with as many gadgets as Amazon echo in case you have a smart home. Its speaker is better but not for audiophiles. It is unable to take notes of some basic tasks.
The higher end ones are the Echo Plus from Amazon and Home max from Google belong to the same tie but still are very different from each other and can’t be compared.
While Amazon Echo and Google home are actually systems that are permanently fixed at home and use the internet to carry out the errands you command and not blue tooth speakers. Amazon has a range of products including Echo look, Echo Spot, Echo Tap and Echo Show and each one has its own niche. For example for Echo look is good for the fashionista’s, echo spot is an alarm clock for you while tap is an Echo that is portable and Alexa based.
Google home does make use of google search and the assistant is quite smart to with your requirements. But, with making calls Alexa seems be smarter. Even with local queries that pertaining to Bollywood and reading Kindle books aloud. Amazon is doing well in tying up with third party applications in extensive use like Ola, Uber, Urban Clap and more. Now, it’s easy to book a cab, hotel, flight or electrician on an echo.
Compared to Google home, Alexa works better in India as it even supports smart lights like Syska, D link, LIFX other than Philips. Hence, Alexa is a better choice in India compared to Google Home but ultimately the choice of the product depends on
