About the Event
Department of Aeronautical Engineering conducted Kalam day as Innovation day on the occasion of 90th birth anniversary of Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam on 29th Oct 2021. On the inaugural function, Shri Sundaramurthy, Mission Director (Retd.) ISRO, participated as Chief Guest. The program was started at 10.00 AM with the welcome speech by Mr.Satish Hiremath, Assistant Professor and followed by the facilitation by the students. Presidential address was given by Dr.M.S.Murali, Principal, ACSCE. Special address was given by Prof.Soma, Dr.Theerthamalai and Dr.A.K.Sarkar, Professors of Aeronautical Engineering. The guest handled an interactive session about the Developments and opportunities in Aeronautical and Aerospace Industries to the participants. Vote of thanks proposed by Mr.Albert Allen D Mello, Assistant Professor. The dept had arranged many events for the students. Prizes were distributed to the winners at the end of the function. The event ended with National Anthem.
The entire programme was co-ordinated with the support of the management, Principal, faculty, Professors and students of the Aeronautical Engineering, ACSCE.
