The technical seminar and Hands on training titled “Embedded AI for Aerospace Applications” was organized to enhance the knowledge of Aerospace Engineering students in Artificial Intelligence and its use in aerospace applications.
The program started at 11.15 am with the welcome speech by student representative Mr. Ajay Rahul of 3 rd year Aerospace Engineering. Dr. P. Theerthamalai, Dean and Prof. Soma P addressed the gatherings and outlined the significances of AI & ML in today’s technological World. Then, Ms. Sangeetha, III-year student introduced the resource person and the Dr. P.Theerthamalai & Prof. Soma P, ACSCE greeted the resource person with the Bouquet and Memento. The resource person handled a very interesting session on Applications and Demonstrations on Edge AI using STM AI Systems. The resource person outlined the following points.
  • What is AI?
  • Applications of AI in Aerospace Engineering
  • AI algorithm for Motions sensors in Cockpit instruments
  • Demo on Edge AI and Program
  • Hands on training in STM AI Systems application
At the end of the session, students interacted with the resource person to clarify their doubts in the topic and the resource person motivated the students to enrich their skill in Artificial Intelligence. Students expressed their gratitude that the program was highly informative and interesting. Finally, the seminar ended with the vote of thanks by third year student Mr. Farhan Ahmed.
