About the Visit
The Seminar titled “Introduction to GNSS” was organized to enrich the knowledge of Aerospace students to get exposure on Global Navigation Satellite Systems and its applications to various fields.
The program was started at 11.00 AM with the welcome speech by HOD/AS and followed by introduction of the resource person Mr. Bharathidasan and Ms. S. Sangeetha (Accord Software and Systems Ltd) by Mr. J. Siva, Asst. Prof. ASE. The resource person handled an interactive session about the fundamentals of GPS, Glonass, IRNSS, Compass, QZSS and Galileo. The contents of this talk were related to navigation systems and its applications in civil and defence sector. The resource person shared the information about the importance of the following aspects and also hands on experience was given in multi view GNSS receiver manufactured by Accord.

In between interaction with students and questionnaire to test the ability of students and the resource person motivated the students to enrich their skills.
