About the Visit
The guest lecture titled “Mechanics of Fluids” was organized to enrich the knowledge of Aerospace students to get exposure on fluid mechanics.
The program was started at 02.00 PM with the welcome speech by HOD/AS and followed by introduction of the resource person Mr. R. Srinath by J. Siva, Asst. Prof. ASE. The resource person handled an interactive session about the fundamentals of fluid mechanics. The resource person shared the information about the following topics.
Basic Considerations: Introduction, Dimensions- Modules and physical quantities, Continuum view of gases and liquids, Pressure and Temperature scales, Physical properties of fluids.
Fluid Statics: Pressure distribution in a static fluid, Pressure and its measurement.
In between interaction with students and questionnaire to test the ability of students and the resource person motivated the students to enrich their skills. The students were expressed that this lecture was highly useful to them wrt to Mechanics of Fluids subject. Finally, the seminar was ended with vote of thanks by Ms. Sushmitha Asst. Prof.
