About the Programme:
The Programme started with the blessings of God in presence of the dignitaries, Dr.Usha p.Murthy,Prof,SIT,Tumkur Dr. M S Murali Principal,Dr. B H Veena,Prof and Head,and other faculties and students.
Dr.Pradeep Kumar K T welcomed the chief guest and the gathering.
A brief report of objectives and activities of the Mathxplore club were informed by Dr. B H Veena Prof and Head.
Our beloved principal Dr.M S Murali spoke on the occasion and Motivated the students to “Practice Mathematics and not to read Mathematics”.
The Technical Talk on “Applications of Mathematics in Engineering” was given by Dr.Usha P.Murthy Prof and Head,SIT Tumkur.Her talk was inspiring interactive and informative. She gave several examples of real life which can be solved by Mathematical concepts. She explained the Mathematical model depicting the shortest route that can be followed in water distribution system for rivers by Graph Theory
The programme ended by vote of thanks, Dipthi, student coordinator of the club.
