Voluntary Blood Donation Camp

We are pleased to inform that the NSS Unit of ACSCE is organizing the Voluntary Blood Donation Camp on 10th March 2017 @ 9.00AM onwards. We request you to encourage your faculty and students to attend the Event.

About the Event:

The NSS Unit of ACSCE has conducted a VOLUNTARY BLOOD DONATION camp in the campus in association with the RajaRajeswari Medical College & Hospital, Lion’s Club Bangalore- South, Rashtrotthana Blood Bank & Red Cross on 10.03.2017. The Camp was started at 09.30 AM in the morning and continued up to 3.00 PM.

The Principal, Dr. M.S. Murali Prof. Elangovan, Vice Principal, Mr. M.S. Shivakumar, NSS Programme Coordinator, Gopinath Rao, Gangappa Gowda, Lions Club, Dr. Latha, RRMCH, has inaugurated the camp by lighting the lamp. After the inauguration, the Principal & Lions Club Presidents have addressed all the volunteers & students about the importance and benefit of this type of camps. Mr. M.S. Shivakumar, NSS Programme Coordinator & HOD Dept. of Chemistry, motivated the students and the Volunteers.

The faculty members like Dr. Pradeepa S.M, Mr. Venkatesh T, Dept. of Chemistry, Dr. Veena B.H, HOD, Mr. Raghavendra K, Mrs. Deepa, Dept. of Mathematics have very actively participated & involved in the Camp throughout the day. Senior faculty members such as, Dr. Selvanandan, HOD, Dept. of Physics, Dr. Pradeep B.S, HOD, Dept. of CSE, Mr. Anand. M.H. Dept. of EEE have also encouraged & supported us during the camp.

More importantly, nearly 50 NSS volunteers from various branches of ACSCE have attended & involved in the camp very enthusiastically. During this camp, about 223 units of blood have been collected successfully. We take this opportunity to thank all the teaching and non teaching members who have supported us directly or indirectly. Finally, The NSS unit of ACSCE thanks the management (RRGI) for their continuous support and appreciation for all our activities.
